Pittsburgh Bandits : ウィキペディア英語版 | Pittsburgh Bandits
The Pittsburgh Bandits are a professional inline hockey team based in Harmar Township, Pennsylvania, and competing in the AIHL, having previously competed in the PIHA. Originally in the Mason Dixon division in the Eastern Conference of the PIHA, the Bandits now compete in the Colonial Division (AIHL) of the AIHL. The Pittsburgh Bandits had an expansion season finishing with a 34-4 record, and a 32-2 regular season record, the best in the history of PIHA. The 2007-08 Bandits were led by Dustin Roux, the team's leading scorer last season, along with Brock Wilson, a top defenseman in the country, and Mitchell Hardin who will likely be one of the best goalies in the league. Other players who will be big contributors are Ben Dyer, Jason Roux, Eric Keene, Jeremy Lascko, Sean Masem, Jake Cole, and a good goaltender in Kevin Hammerschlag. Returning to coach this season will be Jon Roux and Joe Catena. The Bandits lost quite a few players from last season, but the youth of the team should prove to help, they are all under 23 years old and their speed should help them a lot against teams of veterans like the Growl and Lunatics. Since that time, the Pittsburgh Bandits have grown into an expansive inline hockey organization, encompasing multiple teams in every age division. Currently, the Elite team is led by players such as Dustin Roux on offense, and Dave Thomas on defense.
